Reza Derakshani is an Iran born international visual artist and musician. His work known for it’s diversity and originality has gained recognition for its fearless exploration of form and style, and the skill and vision necessary to merge an unbending tradition with a wild contemporary spirit. Derakshani’s works are in the permanent collection of Metropolitan museum New York, British museum London, State Russian museum St Petersburg, Gunzerhauzen museum Germany, Tehran contemporary art museum as well as numerous distinguished private collection globally. Rena’s music journey includes live performances in Montreux jazz festival, Brooklyn museum NY, Fip radio France, Chicago art institute, Maxxi museum Rome, Central Park summer stage and Juilliard music school New York to name a few. A native of many continents Derakshani current lives and works between the USA, Istanbul and Izmir Turkiye.
