Lord George Robertson is a member of the British House of Lords and a member of its Constitution Committee. He was a member of the House of Commons for twenty one years. He was Defence Secretary of the United Kingdom 1997-99 and Secretary General of NATO 1999-2003. He is Deputy Chairman of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a Senior Counsellor with the US-based Cohen Group, an Adviser to the CEO of BP plc and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Atlantic Council.
